AI Bootcamp in Sousse, Tunisia

August 7, 2023

This summer, something special happened in Sousse, Tunisia. A group of high school students got to learn all about artificial intelligence (AI) at a fun three-day bootcamp. The bootcamp was put together by the Tunis Center, Pristini School of AI, and Aiphabet.

The bootcamp was led by Dr. Ansaf Salleb-Aouissi and Uzay Macar. They taught the students about what AI is, how it works, and why it's important. The students got to try coding in Python and learned about machine learning. They talked about the big questions around AI, like how to use it in a way that's fair and good for everyone.

The students had a great time and left feeling excited about AI. They learned new skills that could help them in the future if they want to work with computers and technology. Who knows? Maybe some of these students will become the next big AI inventors!
